Once you have found a website, check the prices and compare them with the prices on another website that ships internationally to your destination. A bit cheaper aren’t they! That is because shipping of perfume & cologne is often a pricey process, as they are delicate items, and require careful wrapping and handling. Now, you will need to negotiate with your friend or contact in the USA, and ask if the product can be shipped to them instead of you. This will mean you have to submit their address and postal code to the shopping website – so ensure they give you permission beforehand.

With all the necessary details submitted, the website will direct your package to the USA address. More often than not, the shipping can actually be free, whilst the price of the product is significantly discounted. Now, all you have to do is ask your friend to forward that parcel on to you – via the international shipping method that you choose, instead of the costly shipping methods that the website may have offered. This is a win-win situation! Firstly, you are receiving a heavy discount on the products that you chose, and secondly you are purchasing shipping and handling at a fraction of the cost of what was on offer at other websites. All going well, you will receive the package, generally around the same time as you would have received it straight from the website, at a much lower cost.

Before you set this type of system up however, make sure that you have a reliable contact in that country. Friends and family work best, because they are prepared to go out of their way for you, and expect nothing in exchange.
